ABOUT THE LEDGE

The Ledge Amphitheater is a beautiful venue located between two quarries in Waite Park, Minnesota and hosts up to 6,000 guests for outdoor entertainment.  It is a must-see destination for guests to experience the beauty of this region while enjoying national and local events such as music concerts, comedians, movies in the park, vendor shows, community events and several other acts and performances.  Whether you are an avid concertgoer or a nature-lover, we offer the best of both worlds by featuring a wooded walking path south of the park overlooking our main Transformer Quarry.  You can continue to enjoy the view from inside The Ledge.

Rain or Shine Policy 

All events are rain or shine.  Delays due to severe weather are posted on our website, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages.  Also, weather and other concert-related announcements are made on WJON AM 1240 and KNSI AM 1450 and FM 99.3.  

Special note: Ponchos, raincoats, and trash bags are allowed, however, umbrellas and tarps are prohibited inside the venue.

What can I bring into the venue?

* One factory-sealed water bottle of up to 1 liter in volume per person
* Non-aerosol sunscreen and bug spray
* Non-professional cameras (no cameras with detachable lenses are allowed in)
* Small purses, bags, and drawstring bags (no backpacks allowed)

What can't I bring into the venue?

* No lawn chairs or outdoor furniture
* No tarps or blankets larger than a beach towel
* No outside food
* No recording devices
* No glass or metal containers
* No liquor or drugs
* No noisemakers or laser pointers
* No weapons of any kind
* No vehicles (except those required by people with disabilities)
* No animals (except service animals)
* No picnic baskets, lunch boxes or coolers
* No radios, tape and video recorders
* No BBQ grills
* No umbrellas
* No strollers and/or toys that create a disturbance
* No inflatable furniture
* No selfie sticks or GoPro cameras
* No chain wallets

* No hula hoops, poi or flow toys

* No tailgating in the parking lots

* No professional or detachable lens cameras

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALLOWED AND PROHIBITED ITEMS MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE PER EACH ARTIST'S REQUEST

Per state laws and statutes, the private lessee is allowed to prohibit firearms within their rented occupied space{s). The private lessee may choose to ban firearms from the venue inside the area that is restricted to ticket holders/guests.  If they do so, the lessee may prominently post a conspicuous sign at every entrance to their occupied space(s) containing the following language:

"(LESSEE BUSINESS NAME) BANS GUNS IN THESE PREMISES."

What type of seating is provided?

* AirFlex Chairs are provided in the main seating area.  They have oversized 18” seats and can hold up to 1,000 pounds.   These chairs provide comfort and are designed to allow for air movement to provide sweat-free ventilation.  

  * Yes, you can bring a cushion to add to your comfort and a blanket no bigger than a beach towel.

Special Note: Performers, bands, theatrical groups, or other public and private rentals may have other COVID requirements such as proof of vaccination or negative tests for attendees. 

Ticketmaster will indicate if additional health check requirements for public ticketed events are in place but be aware that these requirements can change at any time without notice.

Where is the accessible seating located on your seating chart?

Please note that our seating is portable and may vary from event to event. This is a sample for your convenience. Please see the finalized seating chart on Ticketmaster for the event you are attending   Accessible seating will be designated on Ticketmaster's seating chart.

How do I request a sign language interpreter for a show? 

Please email us at info@theledgeamp.com or call our box office at 320-640-6701 a minimum of 14 days prior to the show.  We appreciate as much prior notice as possible for our interpreters to have ample prep time. We will help you purchase tickets with the best viewing areas of the interpreter. 

Ticketing 

We use Ticketmaster for our concert events.  

For Parents/Guardians: Concerts and events are for all ages unless otherwise specified but parental discretion is always advised. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied on-site at all times.

Who needs a ticket?

Most of our concerts and events will allow for children age 3 years old and under seated on an adult's lap to attend at no charge provided that the child in this age group is accompanied by an adult with a paid ticket. Everyone must have a ticket for standing-only shows. (Exception: Great Theatre performances:  For the best possible event experience, Great Theatre requests that each child attending has their own seat.)

No Re-Entry for Ticketed Events 

Once concertgoers/patrons enter through the ticketed gates, they are not allowed to re-enter if they decide to leave during the concert/event.
